Yikes! All the horrible reviews from people that had negative customer experiences with Nectar. Went onto google later that day and typed in “Nectar mattress reddit”. Yep, it was smaller than the standard dimensions of a queen.Ĭontacted Nectar by web chat, had to send them some pictures, and they seamlessly processed a new shipment and a pickup of the current frame. Pulled out the measuring tape and took some quick measurements. I ordered a queen but this looked like a frame for a full size bed. I unboxed the frame and to my surprise it was super small. This happened much faster than anticipated! I decided to get the frame set up so once the mattress arrived I’d be able to expedite the process. Before that I was sleeping on the couch for a couple weeks, that may give you some insight into the life changes.Īnyhow, 5 days after I purchased the nectar mattress, the bed frame arrived. I wasn’t in a rush by any means, I had a decent air mattress that was treating me fine for the time being. My expectation was to receive the bed in likely two weeks. Yes that was the full extent of my due diligence. 3 hours later, I purchased a Nectar mattress. Then went on to YouTube and did the same thing. I started with some due diligence and typed “best affordable mattress” into google. I’ve never slept on a memory foam mattress nor purchased a mattress that I haven’t already tested at the store, but some friends had purchased their bed online and seemed to be happy. I honestly think it would have lasted for another 10 years, but that’s life and now I need something to sleep on.
The mattress had been moved many times and held up great, with the exception to a few minor rips by the handles. It was heavy and large, but I really loved it. I don’t know the brand but it was a pillow top queen and always so comfortable. I owned my previous mattress (purchased from City Furniture) nearly 10 years ago. After some recent life changes, I was forced into buying a new bed.
